(EDINBURG, Texas) September 7, 2020 – Golden Grape Entertainment announced that they will be leading an effort to gather supplies to aid the victims of Hurricane Laura in Texas and Louisiana, now through next Saturday, September 12th. The category 4 hurricane left hundreds of thousands without power and running water, decimating homes and affecting lives.
“This is a great way for us to continue our tradition of serving the community,” says Ron Patel, President of Golden Grape Entertainment. “During this time that we haven’t been able to bring people together for live events, we have been able to bring our community together through acts of service. It’s our pleasure to be able to help those in Beaumont and Lake Charles that are still in great need.” All donations will be delivered to the Southeast Texas Food Bank in Beaumont, and Reach Out America will accept the donations for Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Donations can be made at the Bert Ogden Arena by dropping off items Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday-Sunday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the main entrance to the venue, next to the the box office.
